[Product Review/Swatches] Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream & Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow (cream and pigment)

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow & Eye Studio Color Tattoo Metal Eyeshadow ($6.99):

Each of these eyeshadow pots are approximately 1.5" in diameter. They are cream shadows and come in many shades including some that standout with very bright colors. However, I own some neutrals and pinks. All of them have a metallic shimmer except for one.

Color Names: (L-R;T-B): 55 Inked in Pink, 70 Barely Branded; 35 Tough as Taupe, 30 Pomegranate Punk; 45 Bold Gold, 25 Bad to the Bronze

Tough as Taupe is the only matte color out of the set I own. I love using these shadows as a base for my powder shadows. They last a long time and are very pigmented. However, they are a bit chalky so make sure to keep the lid close very tightly. Don't want them to dry out!

Inked in Pink and Barely Branded are part of the Metal collection.

These pots are approximately 1.5" in diameter as well but still small than the cream shadows. Their packaging is plastic while the others had been glass. If you have never used pigments before, they are like loose eye shadows; however, their colors are usually much more vibrant.

When using pigments, you must be aware of fallout. Just pick up the very minimal amount on your brush and apply in layers. Otherwise, you will make a mess and have eyeshadow somewhere you did not want.

These eyeshadow pots are the high scale version of the Maybelline Color Tattoo. I just recently purchased these and I am beyond happy with them. To be quite honest, the Maybe Color Tattoos were forgotten about the moment, I bought these. They are the same size as the other. Their packaging is also made of plastic. At the moment, they are 22 colors in this collection.

Once applying these on, you can immediately tell these are much more creamer that Maybelline's. They are much easier to apply with your fingertips than with a brush, I've found. These really do last all day long too. After doing these swatches, it took more makeup remover to remove these from my hand. I can't put into words how much I love these eyeshadows. A little goes a long way!
